Kahurangi Maori Dance Theatre

On Wednesday 8 June the Kahurangi Dance Theatre visited our school. They were welcomed by the school Kapahaka group.

The Theatre group told a number of Maori myths and legends in song and dance. We really enjoyed the story of Hatupatu and the Birdwoman.

We have been reading other Maori Myths in class. Here is another of our favourites.
